What I remember in the difficult times is kindness from others

Hi my name is Cassandra I have had to face so many difficult situations in my life. What I remember in these times is the kindness that was expressed to me by others. When you are facing adversity this kindness is so special and one day we will all be in the position where we will be cared for. I have been thinking about this a lot these days as I am watching my own mum begin to wane. At times I have felt overwhelmed and it is easy for me to withdraw. I have learnt that you need to start climbing over these barriers and look at what lies beyond, it is just so important. I would tell others to keep loving and caring even when the going gets tough, and we should always bear in mind that one day we might be in this situation ourselves and wanting this kindness.
