How do I keep friends and family in the loop?

Answered by Tricia

what I tried….

I created a blog and emailed the link out to all of our friends and family. I was able to keep everyone updated on Steve’s progress, share photos and also suggest different ways for people to interact with Steve. I also suggested ways people could help out! (Click here to see my blog) This website is really useful if you want to learn how to start your own Blog. what I thought about….

I really wanted to keep that people who cared and mattered to us but it can be draining keeping everyone in the loop. There were also some people who really wanted to check in with us but were not sure about when the right time to call or pop over would be. Having the blog meant they could keep in touch and would have a better understanding of where we were at.

A bit about my me & my caring situation

Tricia cared for her husband late last year when he was diagnosed with cancer. They have a large network of family and friends and really wanted to keep them up to date with what was happening but felt increasingly drained  and needed to find a way to communicate with everyone in a way that worked for them.
