They wouldn’t care as much as I do

I’m Candice and I have been caring for my Pop for 15 years, he is a Vietnam vet and has recently been diagnosed with cancer. I had a particularly hard day today trying to get my kids to school and him to all his hospital appointments I’m exhausted. However on days like these I say to myself, don’t give up it’s always worth it you will always know in the future that you were there for him. At the end of the day I wouldn’t want anyone else caring for him because they wouldn’t care as much as I do.  Having the right supports around me is so important I have my husband who helps me and I’m not sure if I would get through this without him.
